About Us
Every child deserves an education that works for their individual needs and goals. Because that’s often easier said than done, we’re here to help each child succeed.
From parental and educational perspectives, we’re both very familiar with the complex processes of special education evaluations, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), coordinating with schools, and more.
We became special education advocates so we can contribute our experience towards helping children and families successfully navigate the best possible educational path for each child.
By working together, the two of us bring a multi-disciplinary perspective to address special education advocacy needs from a variety of angles:
- Christine (Chris) Sullivan, Ed.D. is a teacher and educational evaluator with over 30 years of experience. Her wide range of expertise includes special education teaching and evaluations, as well as intellectual disabilities, autism, executive function, adaptive physical education, and assistive technology. - Eileen McLaughlin is a speech pathologist and reading educator with over 15 years of experience, and she also has significant expertise with the Orton-Gillingham reading instruction and approach. Additionally, as a parent, she personally navigated the New York special education system to help her son succeed. Learn more about Eileen.
